Excel Club At Work
WHAT IS AN EXCEL CLUB?
Excel Clubs are groups of high school students dedicated to improving their schools, communities and country through volunteerism. Excel Clubs focus on Exchange's four programs of service: Americanism, youth activities, community service & the prevention of child abuse.
WHY START AN EXCEL CLUB?
As members of Excel students serve their communities, and develop valuable leadership skills. You have the ability to gift the gift of Exchange, and shape America's future generations.
Under the leadership of Club Builder Charles Lyons and CCISD HS Educator Winston Vasquez III the Copperas Cove's Excel Club has completed projects within and around Copperas Cove community.

July 9, 2016. With temperatures in the high 90’s, the Copperas Cove Excel Club conducted a bake sale at the local Walmart store. The purpose of the bake sale was to raise funds for the club and for expenses related to future activities. These activities include a bar-b-que for residents of the Exchange Sunshine Apartments on August 6, 2016. Several baked pastry donations were received from Amanda Sawyer, Susan Ayers, “Shay” Johnson, Anne Pierce, Robin Flores, and James Glowinski. EXCEL Club members who participated were President Johnathon Grabowski, past-President Destiny Frank, Historian Rachel Pierce, Myrakyle Taylor, Ruth Lautenschlager, and Carleigh Ross. Two new students registered to join the club, Taylor Dudden and Melinda Balades. These two young ladies stayed and donated several hours helping out. A big thank you to all who participated including Jasmin Lyons and Sam Micheal Figgy!
